Nifong Park: One Year Portraits of Henry

One of the best parts of being a portrait and wedding photographer are the relationships that are built with my customers. I met Cassie and James two years ago when they were planning their wedding. It was an amazing shabby chic wedding at La Maison in Jefferson City, MO. She thought of every detail down to the vintage mason jars, old books and wild flowers on the reception tables to a fabulous chandelier overhead their woodsy ceremony. Just lovely.

Needless to say, I was thrilled when I heard they had a baby boy Henry who was turning one. Henry is such a sweet spirited little man with chubby cheeks and warm, sunshiny smile. On a beautiful evening last week we captured Henry’s one year portraits. Amidst the red barns of Nifong Park in southern Columbia, there were giggles, wiggles, yummy birthday cake and a bubble bath to boot. Such fun memories! Here’s a few reasons why being one is a pretty big deal.
