Thanks for checking out the newest addition to the Art & Soul Photography Inc. website. There are a lot of really exciting things happening right now! January 2008 is drawing to a close and the new year has brought a vast array of new beginnings. In a little over a month, if everything goes as planned, Art & Soul will be moving into a new space in downtown Columbia, Missouri. I’m really looking forward to the prospect of having a studio space along with an office/gallery. It will open up so many more opportunities for growth; creatively, also the shear visibility that comes with being in a gallery-like space. A real positive for customers will be the added option of studio portraits at the studio location as well as my already present “portable studio” option for portraits in the comfort of your home.
Another exciting change coming in early to mid-February will be a new look on the website. You’ve seen the same basic look of Art & Soul Photography for about 3 years now – it is time for a change. Over the last few years my photography has evolved and grown both in style and subject range from fine art photography to photojournalistic coverage to studio portraiture. My first love, fine art photography is still very foundational and peeks through at surprising moments. The creative process is so fascinating and I can’t wait to see where it takes me this coming year.
